What a busy couple of months we have just experienced! Visitors from Australia included Chris’s parents (Joan and Warren), John’s niece (Enyah), Joel Krigsman, John’s sister (Marie and Dale), and John’s nephew (Nathan and Sharlie) just to name a few. We have absolutely enjoyed having them and a couple of other Aussie day trippers around. Christmas and New Year’s were celebrated with some of our extended family – which was a vast improvement on the previous year. It is still a little strange for Christmas to be in the middle of winter, along with cold weather and very short days, but at least a hot roast dinner is greatly appreciated!

Prior to Christmas, John had spoken at conferences in both Spain and Italy, and continued training Kids leaders in Ukraine. (more…)

Igor, who oversees the church planting in Ukraine, says “Children are not usually considered part of the church. If a church had 50 children and only 10 adults, they would say they are a church of only 10 people, not 60.” This mindset is typical of churches across Europe, hence the vital need to communicate the absolute value of children and reaching them.
